Summary:
You see them in the checkout line of the grocery store with headlines that suck you in with the latest gossip and cultural trends. Do you pick one up and start reading or do you bypass it knowing it’s nothing but a guilty pleasure? I’m talking about those trash magazines on the shelf of your local grocery store. Terrell Clemmons of Salvo Magazine is here to discuss an intellectual alternative to the cultural narrative with Salvo Magazine. She and I sit down to discuss why no topic is too difficult for the writers to take on. Salvo is a magazine of society, sex, and science from a Christian worldview. We have an amazing discussion and Terrell provides tips on how to get started on your writing career.

About Terrel Clemmons (Taken from Salvo’s Site)
Terrell Clemmons earned a BS in Computer Science from Clemson University and worked in software development until she hopped off the career track to be a full-time mom. Raised in a church-going home, she lived complacently toward the faith until she became a parent. Newly motivated at that point to find truth about the bigger issues of life, she researched the worldview claims of Christianity and became convinced that they were actually true.
She began writing on Christian living and apologetics in 2004 and joined Salvo in 2007. She has also worked with Ratio Christi and Anchorsaway apologetics ministries for youth and is currently training to become a Stephen Minister. With her kids now grown and her husband deceased, she lives in Indianapolis, Indiana, with her dog, the only family member still at home, and writes on apologetics and matters of faith.

salvo n. (săl’vō)

- A group of shots fired simultaneously for effect
A publication of The Fellowship of St. James, Salvo is dedicated to debunking the cultural myths that have undercut human dignity, all but destroyed the notions of virtue and morality, and slowly eroded our appetite for transcendence. It also seeks to promote the Christian worldview. The opinions expressed by individual contributors are not necessarily those of the editors or publisher.
