Season: 13 Episode: 186
Summary:
Ignorance is the absence of knowledge. But there are Christians who keep themselves in a state of willful ignorance because if you don’t know, you don’t have to address the hard cultural topics we face today. Is there neutral ground for the Christian? Kelli from Women in Apologetics shares the cost of speaking the truth and why the commitment to the truth happens long before you ever have to pay the price. She is a former competitive athlete, olympic weightlifter, MMA fighter, and crossfitter. Her current health crisis caused her to re-evaluate how to suffer well and now she encourages other Christian women and teens to suffer well because we never suffer in vain.

Question One
Can you tell us more about who you are and what you do?
Question Two
You recently spoke at the WIA conference on how the truth will cost us. What do you mean by that and is that something Christians should be afraid of?
Question Three
What do you mean when you say we shouldn’t mistake ignorance for innocence? That is a fascinating thought and how does it apply to standing on the truth as Christians?
Question Four
You have an awesome quote that says, “The world demands us to bow to every God but our own.” What are some of the gods of the world and how are some Christians bowing to these gods in compromise? What does not bowing look like practically lived out every day?
Question Five
Full disclosure; I love the truth. I love the word of God and I love speaking the truth. But I’m not going to lie and say that I don’t get intimidated by the shouts of the world to shut up and sit down when it comes to the truth. How do we prepare now, when we see the rough waters and the storm on the horizon, knowing that there might be a cost? How do we fix our minds and remain steadfast now? Are there practical tips to prepare for that before the storm hits?
Question Six
What is WIA up to lately and how do we find and follow you?
