Today we’re talking about encouragement and why we NEEED to encourage others. Before we get into the depth of what that means, let’s first talk about what encouragement is and what it isn’t.
The Bible often tells us to encourage one another. Why do you feel there is an emphasis in the Word of God to encourage our brothers and sisters in Christ?
Many times we look for and need encouragement from others, and it feels good when we have people in our lives who do that for us. But instead of looking for encouragement, what are the benefits of being the one who encourages others?
Our world is upside down and backwards. It always has been, really because this is not our home. And we know times will get worse, according to God’s word. But that can discourage and scare many people. What are some ways we can encourage one another today in the face of difficult times?
When we are scared and discouraged, it’s a lot harder to be an encourager. Why is being in the word of God and surrounding ourselves with encourages so important to then be able to encourage others in the midst of uncertainty?
Whenever I ask myself the question, “Who have you deliberately encouraged today” I come up short. I realize I’ve sought encouragement without giving it. What are some practical and real life tips that will keep us mindful of our encouragement and how to offer that to others?
